Princess Laynie turns 2!!

It's official we now have a 2 year old in the house again!! Laynie turned 2 on January 10th. And I can't believe how fast she has grown up!! She is a very spoiled little girl who has a sweet but onery personality!! She has completed our family and we are so blessed and thank God everyday that she's in our lives! She had a big 2 weeks around her birthday. A week before her birthday she decided on her own that she was a big girl and she was not wearing anymore diapers. It took a couple of days with very few accidents to get everything figured out but she did great!! We have now been diaper/pull up free for about 2 weeks and mommy and daddy are loving this after buying diapers for over 6yrs!! Then last week she decided that she didn't need her paci anymore so she hasn't had it either! I have mixed feelings about this, means my baby is growning up to fast! When she was an infant we couldn't wait for her to walk and talk and now that she is I want her small again!! She is turning into a very sweet, smart and fun little girl and we are very excited to see what her future brings!

It's been a long time!!!

Well it has been sooo long since I last posted! Over 6 months!! We have been very busy as you can see. Kaden had his first Kindergarten field trip. We went to the pumpkin patch

and had a great time! Also Kaden went youth hunting and got a doe. He was very excited. We also went to Silver Dollar City like we do every year with my family and it rained but we had a good time and the kids had fun! Once again the kids had a great Christmas. Santa did very well this year! I think we all had a great 2009 but we are very excited to see what 2010 brings for the Degraffenreid family!

The Wedding!!!!

Yay!! The wedding is finally over! It was a lot of work but we all made it through! The kids did great! Well for the most part. Kaden and Kanyon were the ring bearers and did very well doing their jobs. Kanyon took a brief nap during the ceremony but was ready to party at the reception. Laynie was the flower girl and did a very good job at running down the isle! Hey at least she made it right? Pretty good for just being 18 months old! We did have some problems with her dress during pictures. She tore the front out of it. So mom once again came to the rescue and sewed it up! We did also has some other things that went wrong like, the cake was 3 hours late and the picture ladies family was in a car wreck, and a server had some pulled ribs and didn't show up to the reception. But in all it was a great day!! I guess all that matters is that at the end of the day Kelsey and Kyle were married!! Summer is here!!

Finally we got to go swimming in Ammaw's pool!! It finally stopped raining long enough for the water to be somewhat warm so the kids could dive right in! Of course Kaden didn't have a problem he just jumped right in and took off like years before! Kanyon did much better this year! Not as scared. He wasn't sure at first but once he figured out how the waterwings work he just took off!! Laynie on the other hand wanted to go free! She isn't scared of anything!! Summer at the farm!

The kids and I had a fun day last friday on June 12th. We went to Springfield to the park and visited the farm! The kids loved it! It was a lot of fun and the enjoyed every minute of it! We played in the barn for about an hour then went up to the big red barn and saw the chickens, the goats, the sheep, the mini ponies and the cows. We also came across a few tractors for Kanyon!! The boys also got to "milk" a cow! It wasn't real and water was what was coming out but they didn't care they thought it was fun!! We had a very good day and we all were tired!

Happy 3rd Birthday Kanyon!!

Well my baby boy has turned 3! I can't believe it! I was thinking on Saturday about the day that Kaden turned 3. Kanyon was only 6 months old at the time. Wow! Times goes by so fast!! He had a wonderful day. We started it off early so we could go to Springfield and have pictures taken they turned out great except he has one great fake smile! Oh well they were cute! Then we came home and had a party at 1:00pm and had a great time and about 20 family members and a few close friends showed up. His theme this year was Handy Manny. He loves to fix things (kinda like his daddy)! Then on Sunday we told the boys that we would get them a new puppy because our Lab died in January of a sudden heart attack. So we went and pick out a new Boxer pup. He is 4 months old and he is fawn and white and his name is Spot(Kaden named him). He is very good with the kids and a very good puppy. I think we will enjoy him a lot!!

Easter is almost here!

Well I guess I'm getting the hang of this. Still lots that I don't understand! But as we all know Easter is soon going to be here. The kids had fun at church on Sunday bringing in the palms. Then after that we had a finger food lunch then came the big Easter egg hunt. Laynie actually got to find eggs this year and she had so much fun. The boys cashed in like always!! I think we now have more candy in this house then Walmart has. Oh well I guess all that matters is that they had fun!! We also colored our own Easter eggs at home. The boys really got into it this year and Laynie had no idea what was going on!! I have posted more pictures so everyone can see how much fun they did have.
